Corporate Headshot

Welcome dear

My name is Jane Agirtan and over the last 15 years, I have been fortunate to live, work and raise a family in a beautiful city of Kingston.

Professionally, I’ve been a Chartered Accountant and a small business advisor for over a decade, focusing on business services consulting and tax advisory. I love crunching numbers and really enjoy working with people – whether it’s helping clients achieve their financial goals, supporting and mentoring staff or negotiations with various government agencies.

Prior to career in accounting, I worked in iconic Melbourne restaurants as a chef and even taught at a school while traveling around Middle East.

As a local resident, ratepayer, parent and Kingston Ward committee member, I understand the challenges our local community is facing and am prepared to roll up my sleeves and get involved!

Prudent financial management of ratepayers funds and ensuring council is transparent, accountable and continues to deliver local projects and services for residents whilst keeping fees, rates and levies reasonable would be my top priority.

I know how to listen, and will work hard to get results for residents. I am proud to be able to serve my community.
